Honours those for whom the CFUW Charitable Trust receives memorial donations. At the time of application, the candidate must be enrolled in masters studies in science, mathematics or engineering. This fellowship is tenable in Canada or abroad.

Kim’s research will focus on House Wrens (Troglodytes aedon) on the Caribbean island of Grenada. She will be examining how island subspecies of House Wren evolve unique morphology compared to mainland conspecifics. She will also look at how morphology of Grenada House Wrens impacts song structure. A goal of her work will be to determine if the House Wrens on Grenada should be upgraded from subspecies to species status.
